Family Counseling

Programs that offer therapeutic sessions that focus on the system of relationships and communication patterns among family members and which attempt to modify those relationships and patterns to achieve greater harmony. The therapist focuses on the family as a unit rather than concentrating on one of the members who is singled out as the person in need of treatment. (AIRS RF-2000). Includes marriage counseling, parent counseling, and divorce counseling.

Eligibility: Services are available for uninsured or underinsured. Services are offered on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. In addition, many other types of insurance are also accepted. New patients are welcome.
Services Provided: Services for mild to moderate mental health or substance use, toxicology, peer recovery support and medication.
Adults, youth, and child substance use referrals and call-ins all funnel through ACCESS where they are screened to determine the level of care needed based on severity. General appointments are scheduled based on clinician and program availability. The program serves mild, moderate or severely ill persons who require counseling and/or psychiatric care.
