Any girls in grades K-12 can join Girl Scouts. 

Girls are placed in the appropriate grade level according to what grade they're in at school, as show above.

Sensory Sensitive Saturdays 

Sensory Sensitive Saturdays are on the first Saturday of every month, from 10am-12pm. 

Accommodations include trained staff on site and their louder exhibits are off the floor.

The Camp WANNAGOAGAIN! program is designed to provide opportunities for real-life experiences, an environment to learn new leisure skills, and the chance to meet new friends in a structured environment with experienced staff.

Camp provides the following supports for its campers across activities:

• Visual supports that enhance comprehension and prediction of expectations
• Low camper-to-counselor ratio
• 1:1 support when necessary
• Trained, highly skilled staff
• Sensory-based activities that enhance a camper’s ability to take advantage of language and communication opportunities
• Structured teaching methods
• Relaxation techniques that enhance self-regulation
• Daily living routines incorporated into camp activities as appropriate
• Staff and program content that supports play skills, social skills and participation in group activities
• Camp facilities (such as the lake and nature trails) that offer gross motor activities, which satisfy sensory needs and encourage communication
• Traditional camp activities like swimming, boating, arts and crafts, and nature walks

The Autism Project provides a safe, supported, and fun camp experience.

Teen Summer Programs

Aspire, a MassGeneral Hospital Program, specializes in helping children, teens and adults on the autism spectrum achieve success. Our programming is uniquely designed to help participants with Asperger profiles develop positive self-awareness, stress management and social competency skills so they can succeed at home, school, work and in community settings.

Staff create a safe and supportive environment in which campers can learn, grow, make social connections, express themselves, feel successful and have fun.

PLAN RI helps families create a safe and secure future for their loved ones with a disability.

1. We assist families to develop a personal future plan for their relative.

2. We establish and maintain a caring personal network in the life of the member with a disability. PLAN RI provides assistance in creating and expanding the network of friends and supporters to your loved one, contributing to their quality of life now and in the future when you are not there.

Personal Lifetime Advocacy Networks of Rhode Island (PLAN RI) is a twenty-year-old organization created and led by families.  It helps ensure their sons and daughters with disabilities will have a safe and secure future when their parents are no longer able to do so. 

We emphasize that the best guarantee of a safe and secure future for a person with a disability is a network of caring, committed family members, friends, acquaintances, and supporters actively involved in his or her life.

This personal support network is responsive to changing needs, trends, and laws and is able to advocate for needed changes. 

PLAN RI provides information and guidance to help caregiving family members engage in financial and legal planning.  Supporting both generations with these desires and needs has been recognized as a winning strategy for lifelong inclusion.

The Federation empowers families so that they have the information and resources they need for their children. We work with families with children from birth to adulthood, providing individual assistance, training, and leadership development and support. We focus on education, early intervention, health care, transitions, children in foster care and group homes, and building strong family engagement to support all children, especially those children with disabilities, those at risk, and those with economic, cultural or linguistic barriers.

The hour-long classes provide a positive atmosphere for the exploration of movement while maintaining a focus on the individual abilities of each child. The Adaptive Dance teaching staff is committed to helping each child develop self-confidence. 

Festival Ballet Providence and Meeting Street School have teamed up to offer an Adaptive Dance Program.

Based on a successful program developed by Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Ballet, the program is designed to foster a love of dance and creative expression in children with Down Syndrome. Although the primary goal of the program is for the children to experience the joy of dance and music, it also offers other important benefits. These include improvements in coordination, overall fitness, balance, self-esteem, self-expression, teamwork,  rhythm, and musicality.

NERGN helps to find a genetic clinic near you and provides resources regarding educational and health care transitions as they move from pediatric to adult services. 

NERGN aims to improve health equity and health outcomes in individuals with genetic conditions, reduce morbidity and mortality caused by genetic conditions, and to improve the quality of coordinated and comprehensive genetic services to children and their families.

Products are often covered by insurance and/or Medicaid, however BBG does NOT bill insurance nor Medicaid directly. Medicaid / Medicare and all forms of insurance must be billed through a local DME (home medical supply company) or other authorized agent. Sample letters of medical necessity are provided.

Provides safety beds for those with special needs & the medically fragile who require extra fall and entrapment protection. Beds are FDA approved and they work with multiple DME companies throughout the USA.

Multi-level summer camp programs through Boys Scouts of America- Narragansett Council for youth in grades K-5, & grades 6-12.

Additional programming for young adults ages 14-20.  

Adventure Base Camp is a great way for your child to experience the thrill of the outdoors while introducing them to independence without being too far from home.

The week-long program fills each day with adventures like archery, BB, boating, swimming, crafts, outdoor cooking, fire-building, nature appreciation, and daily STEM projects.

Campers are assigned staff-led groups of up to 15 youth of a similar age to ensure that each camper’s experience is appropriate for their age group. 

Each week will offer different themes and activities to keep the excitement going all summer. Take advantage of coming to camp for multiple weeks at a DISCOUNTED RATE.

Founded in 1916 as "A Scout Adventureland Forever", Camp Yawgoog is situated on 1800 acres of beautiful wilderness in Rockville, Rhode Island. Yawgoog is divided into three separate Camps: Camp Three Point, Camp Medicine Bow and Camp Sandy Beach. All three camps share  program facilities.
