Welcome to Orchid Montessori School, a unique new Montessori Inclusion program for ages 3-6 in East Providence, RI! Our goal is to empower all children, regardless of neurotype, to learn, thrive, and explore their passions. 

Our unique program is a lab program designed in partnership with Access Speech and Allied Therapies and Autism Included. We are working to develop a neurodiversity-positive model of classroom inclusion that can be replicated in other early childhood classrooms.

Services Provided:

Serves as a resource center on hearing loss and spoken language approaches and related issues. Promotes opportunities and rights of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing to learn to use, maintain, and improve all aspects of their verbal communication, including their abilities to use residual hearing and process both spoken and written language. Offers scholarship/ financial award opportunities, membership, information, and publications.

Eligibility:

As a rule, the SRCLP Clinics accept preschool children who have difficulty speaking or understanding the spoken word or school-age children who have difficulty learning to read. Some centers also offer literacy training for adults.

Services Provided:

A program to help children with speech and language disorders. Each facility is staffed by speech-language pathologists or other trained personnel. All services are available regardless of race, creed, or the family’s inability to pay.
