The Children's Neurodevelopment Center (CNDC) at Hasbro Children's Hospital provides evaluation and treatment of children with neurological, genetic, developmental, metabolic and behavioral disorders. The center incorporates multidisciplinary care with pediatric urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery and craniofacial programs.


The center is located on Prairie Avenue, in an area designed to be particularly spacious, comfortable and welcoming to children and their parents, who are essential partners in their children's care.

The ACT Now Clinic provides assessment and clinical triage of pediatric patients and their families, and allows for earlier access to specialty care. The clinic uses a process-oriented triage and care coordination model, including the development of clinically appropriate care plans for children with complex conditions. Clinical teams include a licensed clinician and a family service coordinator. 


As is appropriate, families will be given the option to join our Three Cedar Family Center program for ongoing support and care management service.

The center incorporates multidisciplinary care with pediatric urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery and craniofacial programs.

Primary care physician must complete and Fax or Email the Request for Services form to CANDO. 

Parents: Once your primary care physician has sent the Request for Services form, the request will be evaluated by our clinical staff and, if appropriate, we will contact you to schedule an appointment. If not, we will follow-up with your primary care physician with recommendations for a service that may better meet your needs.

Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO)

The Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO) is an outpatient clinic and collaborative effort between University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center and Department of Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School that provides cutting edge services to patients in the Central Massachusetts area. COAST Clinic services include occupational therapy (OT) and speech-language pathology (SLP), and address alterations in fine and gross motor development impacting coordination, strength, endurance and body awareness.

The Communication, Occupational and Sensory Treatment (COAST) Clinic at Bradley Hospital offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents who have difficulty participating in age-appropriate activities due to physical, neurological, cognitive, behavioral, communication or sensory processing challenges. Our occupational therapists and/or speech language pathologists will work with each child and family to create an individualized program to meet the child's specific needs.

The Fostering Health Program provides family centered medical care to newborns and children through the age of 18 who are in foster, kinship and congregate care. The goal is to provide a medical home for these children and adolescents.

The program staff collaborates with Department of Children Youth and Families caseworkers, foster care families, birth families, residential treatment staff, mental health providers, subspecialty providers and educators. This is an opportunity for caregivers to learn more about the child’s health, special health care needs, and to provide education to both foster parents and biologic parents.
