The Free Clinic provides a medical home of coordinated health services comprised of primary care, labs and diagnostics, specialty care, prescription medications, follow-up visits, counseling, and wellness programs that help uninsured adults get and stay healthy.

Mission:
Founded in 1999, the Rhode Island Free Clinic’s mission is to provide free, comprehensive medical care and preventive health services to adults who have no health insurance and cannot afford those services; and to serve as an educational training site for aspiring health care professionals.

The mission of Recovery International is to use the cognitive-behavioral, peer-to-peer, self-help training system developed by Abraham Low, MD, to help individuals gain skills to lead more peaceful and productive lives.

Medi Teddy is a machine-washable teddy bear that covers medical equipment or feeding tubes to help children feel more comfortable with the medical equipment. Bears are available at no or reduced costs to children who need them.

Families and school personnel (including those in training) who have at least one student with a disability can sign up for free membership.

Provides services designed to support and improve the academic achievement of students who are blind, visually impaired, deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind.

The Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Clinic is the only place in the region that can offer this level of care for females from birth to age 16.

Our team of gynecologists sees females who need evaluation and treatment of such gynecologic issues as:

• Congenital anomalies of the reproductive tract

Dr. Wheeler specializes in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and is the Medical Director of the Women and Infants IVF Program. She is the director of pediatric and adolescent gynecology, which assists girls and adolescents with gynecologic-related issues.

UCD Family Camps: Hosts annual camps for families affected by a Urea Cycle Disorder. UCD Family Camps are held in different locations across the US so that all families around the country may have an opportunity to attend. Camps are 100% free of charge to UCD families and siblings (any age). All costs of foods (low-pro), lodging, and shuttling to and from airport to camp site is provided as well.
