Providing a range of services for children birth to 3 with or at risk of developmental delays due to medical history or environmental factors at no cost to the family. Coverage areas include: Barrington, Central Falls, Cranston, East Providence, Johnston, Lincoln, North Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, Smithfield, Warwick and West Warwick.

Early Intervention services begin with a full assessment of each child's skills in all areas of development.

Following this assessment, goals are developed to address concerns and a child's specific needs.

Families learn new skills and strategies to help their child to develop and learn through everyday play, daily activities, and the family's typical routine. Services occur in the home or other settings where the child typically spends his/her day.

Family Service of Rhode Island Early Intervention program provides services to infant/children with hearing loss.

The team of experienced professionals includes: educators, social workers, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nutritionists and interpreters.

Family Care Community Partnerships (FCCP) Serving families with children under age 18 (up to 21 in certain cases) at risk of involvement with the Department of Children, Youth and Families. Family Service of Rhode Island leads a six-agency partnership providing wraparound services to families in Central Falls, Cranston, Pawtucket and Providence. Family Coaching and Visitation Center Providing coaching and supervised visitation for children and families who have suffered maltreatment. Families learn new relationship skills in the context of a home environment. Parent education groups and parent-child play groups are offered. Referrals through DCYF.

Afia Center for Health & Wellness at 485 Plainfield St. in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Providence. Afia is a drop-in center that operates on Wednesdays and Thursdays 12-3 p.m. and offers hot meals; a food pantry that also includes access to personal care items; outings and group activities; and much more. New members must meet with APRI’s program coordinator to determine eligibility for services. There is no fee associated with the services offered through the Afia Center.

AIDS Project Rhode Island (APRI) was founded approximately 30 years ago as a non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate, non-judgmental and collaborative response to the needs of people infected, affected and at-risk of HIV/AIDS.
Over the years, APRI accomplished this mission through leadership in prevention, education, supportive services and advocacy.

Children under age 19 (up to 21 in certain cases) with behavior issues, juvenile delinquency or other problems that place them at risk of involvement with the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF). 

Available for families living in the West Urban Core or more specifically the communities of Providence and Cranston. 

The Family Care Community Partnership (FCCP) serves families at-risk for involvement with the Rhode Island Department of Children Youth and Families.

FCCP services include referrals; triage; initial needs screening; in-person intake; resource information; referral and linkages to community resources; and high-fidelity wraparound services (which include crisis stabilization and are a type of family preservation service).
