SSTARbirth is the only specialty program of its kind, in the state of Rhode Island. We are a family reunification program and women participate in treatment with their young children. Services Provided: Text4baby is a free mobile information service designed to promote maternal and child health through text messaging. Women receive text messages through pregnancy and up until the baby’s first birthday. The messages address topics such as labor signs and symptoms, prenatal care, urgent alerts, developmental milestones, immunizations, nutrition, birth defect prevention, safe sleep, safety, and more. Answers to frequently asked questions can be found on the website.
