• Recommendations and support for social affirmation, puberty blockers, gender affirming hormones, and letters and support for gender affirming surgeries
• Initiation and continuation of gender care and hormone therapy 
• Referrals to specialty providers, surgeons, and community resources

Adolescent Medicine

Abigail A. Donaldson, MD, is board certified in both adolescent medicine and pediatrics, and an attending physician in the division of adolescent medicine at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. Dr. Donaldson is medical director of the hospital’s Eating Disorder Program, and a certified specialist in eating disorders by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. She is an assistant professor of pediatrics at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
