• step by step instructions and examples to help complete the report
• a process to collect information that applies to the child, similar to the interview process in a Social Security office

Do you know you can work while receiving SSI/SSDI disability benefits?

Yes, it is true! If you receive disability benefits and want to work, program rules known as “work incentives” make it possible. You can learn about work incentives from various publications published by the Social Security Administration (SSA), by attending a public information session, and/or by connecting with a Certified Work Incentives Benefits Specialist. Parents of children receiving serious and financially-challenging health care treatment. Children must be 16 or younger at the time of application, have a Social Security Number issued by the Social Security Administration (TIN numbers are not accepted), must be covered by commercial/private insurance, and under license medical professional. Family must not exceed maximum eligible family income as documented on IRS Tax Form 1040.

Provides medical grants to help with expenses for children, and gain access to health-related services not covered, or not fully covered, by their parents' commercial health insurance plan. Children must be 16 years old or younger while meeting other grant requirements.
