Horses Bring Hope is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in beautiful Wakefield, Rhode Island. We specialize in therapeutic and traditional riding. 

No charge for services.

Provides service and companion dogs to people who have mobility difficulties, type I diabetes, epilepsy, and other medical needs. Provides a Disabilities Awareness Education Program and K-9 Kids Reading Program for school-age children as well as Animal Assisted Therapy services.

A nonprofit helping children who face social, emotional or educational challenges with the help of animal assisted therapy, school visits and assistance dog placements. Serves children whose challenges range from autism to serious medical conditions to grief over the loss of a parent.

Specializing in visiting programs with Therapy Animals, Companion Animals and Social/therapy Animals. Educates healthcare and other professionals; Provides gold standard therapy animal curriculum and training; Empowers individuals with disabilities; Advances knowledge about research.

Prepares and places fully trained dogs with approved disabled recipients.

It costs over $38,000 to train and place a Service Dog. Involvement in fundraising is voluntary. No out-of-pocket costs for recipients. 

Provides global standard and certification for equine therapy programs. Involves a team approach that includes a licensed, credentialed Mental Health Professional, a qualified Equine Specialist, and horses working together with the client in an arena at all times.

Provides educational resources and continuing education courses for occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology professionals who incorporate equines, equine movement and the equine environment in treatment. 

Accredits centers and certifies professionals in the equine-assisted services industry. Provides over 150 standards to help centers sustain viable programs using best business practices, provide compassionate, humane equine management, program- specific standards, facility maintenance and precautions and contraindications for disabilities.
