Biosketch:

Karen Buchi, MD is a Professor of Pediatrics and Vice Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. She has an extensive history in academic leadership, serving as the Medical Director of the University of Utah’s Well Baby and Intermediate Nurseries, Medical Director of South Main Clinic, and Chief of the Division of General Pediatrics. Her research and advocacy work are focused on maternal substance use and the drug-endangered child.
