Dr. Meier graduated summa cum laude from St. Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California Davis Medical Center. Following residency, Dr. Meier completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Here, he gained expertise in all areas of pediatric otolaryngology and congenital disorders of the head and neck.
Dr. Meier has been awarded a research grant from the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Foundation. He also received several awards for his outstanding teaching and teamwork. He has published numerous peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters, with recent work focusing on laryngomalacia, airway reconstruction, and speech disorders. Dr. Meier has clinical interests and special expertise in pediatric sinus disorders, airway reconstruction, congenital neck masses, facial trauma, and cleft lip and palate.
