Biosketch:

Dr. Park received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis and completed his residency in otolaryngology at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago and his fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. He joined the faculty at Loyola University Medical Center where he practiced pediatric otolaryngology. In 2002, he moved to Salt Lake City and is currently a professor and section chief of otolaryngology at the University of Utah and at Primary Children’s Hospital. He is co-director of the multidisciplinary hearing assessment clinic that he and Dr. John Carey created in 2004. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, Triologic Society, Society for Ear, Nose and Throat Advances in Children, the American Bronchoesophagological Association and the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Park practices general pediatric otolaryngology with special emphasis on pediatric otology, congenital cytomegalovirus, pediatric hearing loss head and complex pediatric otolaryngology conditions. He has over eighty publications and has had several grant awards from the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology, Deafness Research Foundation, National Organization for Hearing Research and the National Institutes of Health.
